I built this firm around one belief: payroll is too important to be treated like a back-office afterthought. Most payroll companies run high volume and low touch. BlackLabel runs the opposite. We work with one client at a time, giving every business our full attention and a level of service most providers reserve for enterprise accounts only.
Before BlackLabel, I kept hearing a common theme from business owners: their payroll providers weren't providing real customer service. Questions went unanswered, problems went unexplained, and owners were left confused — with their payrolls at risk. At the same time, I watched others carry compliance risk they didn't know they had: running payroll manually, paying workers through Zelle, or hoping the IRS wasn't paying attention. That is not a foundation. It is exposure.
